Merrick (Merrick) - Head of the Deviant Spitfires
Merrick is the one who keeps the Deviant Spitfires from killing each other. He keeps everyone relatively calm and running smoothly. He makes sure that the Spitfires do things like actually practice, as opposed to just hanging out. Originally a member just for leadership purposes, he became infected with the same pyro tendencies that reside in all the Spitfires and started learning poi.
Tools: poi

Bellana Bellana -Founder
Bellana is the founder of the Deviant Spitfires. She eats fire, blows, will dance with anything that she can attach a wick to, and has recently taken to conspiring with Jester. Most of her time is spent either offering helpful hints or reminding Merrick what he was about to do next. She excels in coming up with insane ideas and attempting to convince Loki to let her pull them off. Bellana no longer finds it odd to write about herself in the third person.
Tools: You light it, I'll dance with it

Loki (Hobby) - Head Fire Safety and Pyrotechnician

I'm the one that tells the girls .... NO! PUT THAT DOWN.... YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!! PUT HIM DOWN!!!!! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT??? DIDN'T I TELL YOU NO? Who are you? YOU GUYS ARE GONNA KILL ME! ! ! YOU KNOW THAT, RIGHT?

Arizona DesertRat borne and raised; Yes, I was a boyscout, still have my membership card and everything (will show you upon request only, must schedule an appointment for that at least 3 years in advance). A good chunk of the Deviants call me either Mom or Uncle Hobby (don't ask about the second, I'm not telling...) I make sure my girls (wow, and now boys) stay in one piece (or as close to that as is humanly possible...;)I act as Head of Fire Safety, unofficial chirurgeon (still working on the certs) playground mommy, and special FX guy. And anything else they need. I am the group handy-man.

Tools:
Lit: I don't do lit performance. Ever. I don't care, don't have time to learn.
Unlit: Just look in my car.... there's plenty of tools in there.... plus there's my "little" blue bag...... my little fire box..... DUCT TAPE!!!!!!...... um..... whatever's on my belt (usually a buck knife...)..... ask and I can find something to fix your problem (most of the time), if you need a sperm whale to drop out of the sky to smother the fire instantly . . . . . you're SOL, there's only so much I can do.

Sunfire (Dawn) - Performer
I've been dancing since i could walk, and performing at least as long. I've tried many types of dance and incorporate them all into my fireplay. I love the sound of the fire as it moves and love to enthrall others with this fantasic element. While not as crazy and Bellana and Firebug, I still want to find new things to light on fire. :P
Tools: fans, hand candles, staff, fingers

Jester Jester (Puck) - Music God
I am a native Arizonan and darn proud of it. My first experience with manipulation tools was when I was very young; when I was about 5 or 6, my mom got me a set of devilsticks at a festival thrown by the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. I tried it for a short while, got bored with it, and gave up. I got more exposure to it at the Renaissance Festival over numerous years, and then in either 1994 or 1995 I got my first pair of flower sticks, and still use them to this day. Over the years, I have picked up other manipulation disciplines, most notably diabolo and poi. I started doing poi in the summer of 2004, and the simple toy has grown on me quite a bit.
Tools:
Lit: Poi.
Currently unlit, working on lit: Devilsticks (all I need is the equipment, I've been doing flower sticks for over a decade now), staff, and great staff.
Unlit: Meteors (A cross between poi and staff, a meteors set is two weights on either end of a piece of rope), diabolo, and contact juggling. I also do magic on the side.
Want To Get Into: Toss juggling, club swinging, double short staff (aka Hawaiian fire knife)
